Talonbooks is a renowned Canadian independent publishing house founded in Vancouver. Known for their work of publishing a variety of Canadian literature, and specializing in fiction, poetry, and drama. Talonbooks could consider a branding refresh to ensure their visual identity reflects their current standing.
The mandate was to brand Talonbooks visual identity in a new, modern, and contemporary way. The branding must have the ability to reflect Talonbooks genre of publishing, while sustaining a professional yet very visual and story-telling approach.
