The Dawson College graphic design program vernissage is an event typically held annually to showcase graduating students’ work. It’s a celebratory event where guests can view the final projects and accomplishments of the graduating graphic design class.
The mandate was to design a poster for the vernissage exhibition that will be later on produced and evaluated in a juried competition. Then later on, the winning poster design will be selected as the foundation for the event’s brand identity. This will be achieved by extending the poster’s visual language across various marketing materials, including the event catalogue, postcards, and other promotional elements.
